I've dealt with a monster mother too ( though not my own; my boyfriend's. She literally thinks I'm a "false prophet" because my name is Jesse and she thinks it's a variant of "Jesus". Seriously. Not even kidding. )
She once caused me so much stress for a while that it made me go temporarily blind on an off ( ocular migraines ). xD;;
My point: I think I can relate juuust a little. Though it's nothing like living with someone like that.

And btw. Honestly
I love curves. I hate it when people are deliberately bony. I would take someone like Adele ( who is genuine beauty @__@ ) over a chickenfoot like Paris Hilton ( she makes me want to vomit, seriously ) any day.
