-nods- I know a tiny bit of coding.. but maybe you could find a course with people learning and see if someone needs extra credit for the course? I know we got offered to on another site if we helped them out, they would say something to the college or write us a reference for job hunting.

it'd be the same here, any work is a letter of recommendation and full credit (believe me, i asked the same thing for the three sites i drew for) but most people charge if they are any good at all so that is moot to offer

i was paid when i was hired to a fledgling site(granted it was 20 bucks a week for like 15 hours of work plus whatever overtime i put in but still)

Hm.. I think most of the courses here.. you volunteer to gain experience but than could be wrong.. I know for teaching, you had to put a few weeks teaching before you could pass and come a teacher.
