I'm really hung up on this next scene in particular. I'm not good at writing Tom Riddle but the fic would be worse off if I avoided it now.

I've yet to come up with a title for it, but it's a time travel story with Harry jumping from just before the final battle against Voldie to the end of his third year and he looses all but the most vivid memories of the years in between but he's still a nearly-18 year old war veteran inside and so the story is about him dealing with things from that perspective and it gets a little into PTSD, not a lot, but the war has definitely affected the Harry that I'm writing, even if he can't remember a lot of it.

Yeah, he was. I'm not a big fan of his character in canon but I like the HP universe because I like having the canon to twist around and play off of. Most of my stories are like that, really. There are some things that happened in canon that just make me twitch. My stories usually try to throw light on those spots.

There's some nice new submissions to the Item contest. Have you seen them? It would be nice to get some of those.

Yep. I though the hand thing was clever. I was struggling with the base's pose when I was thinking up ideas but you came up with a good solution.

I really want Rem's first item, first pose though. The belt and arm thing. It's way better than my entries. I don't stand a chance :)
