I tried to make Japanese part of my daily life. Then I got so busy with stuff I failed to remember to continue it.

well I get bitched at by aunts if I do that..

my one aunt who lives in ohio with us got pissed off that i was studying kana cards in her car -.- then when she saw the kanji hung in my room she freaked

I don't know why they do it either...

they don't like me or mom.

Spanish is only good if you live near the south. French is only good if you live near the north. And Japanese is good for hobbies like reading manga *u*

I think she grew up in an environment with anti-Asian views. Either that or she's annoyed at all the anime and stuff. Part of the anti-Japanese crowd cuz it's obliterating our 'uniqueness'...or something like that...they have some silly arguments. America is a blend of cultures, and she probably hasn't gotten that through her head.

I usually don't follow those kind of "anti" movements.

Who knows... I just put it as that the family hates me.. its not just one aunt.

Mine. . . My one step cousin doesn't like me much. But then again with the cold shoulder she gives me I want to flush her head in the toilet. Did I say that?

My grandma bitches constantly about me becoming a nurse and trying again. Or going and becoming a medical assistant. I keep telling her it's not what I want to do. That I want nothing to do with medical; she doesn't get it.

I love my grandma, but she sometimes is so damn thick.

My grandmother was emotionally abusive and had nothing nice to say to me or mom. but when it came to my aunt or sisters they were angels (even if they pulled knives on people)

she physically abused mom when she was little and mom can't decide if she loves or hates the old biddy >o

It's an unconditional love, being a mother and what not. While the rest is a hate for what she did.
