I was on a girls retreat with the youth group from my mother's church at the time. The chaperons weren't being sure we all had on enough sunscreen. Most of the other girls got sunburns, but I was the only one to get sun poisoning. It's because I have such fair skin.

Never get too much sun and always wear sun screen!!!

it is a SUPER sun burn.... i believe it can cause like real burns, like th ones you get for touching a stove.

Yep, I got huge blisters all over my back. *shudders* I'm glad I'm not a back sleeper.

Though, I think I'd be okay with the pain after the first few hours. >w< I dunno why, but I've always been able to take physical pain well. owo

It's not just the blisters, though. It's also your muscles having been literally cooked. Every movement of your arms, legs, and torso, even for breathing, becomes an ordeal. Using the restroom is nearly impossible, and the blisters can burst quite easily, thus soaking and making stick any garment you may be wearing. You flinch in pain, but that action causes only more pain, and it continues until you go numb from the sensation, only to relax and then have the pain flare up anew the next time you move.

That's why I don't go out much. Florida sun isn't good for my fair Irish skin.

I use SPF 50 sunblock ^^" I need to go buy more this week when I hang out with my boyfriend so when I go outside with him on the weekend over at his house, I can keep myself from burning to a crisp

Ack, I know the pale thing. I'm part Irish, English and German ^^" All pale. Thankfully I don't burn that fast or bad.

Oh i am just a polish girl that doesn't like the sun light >W< I have only gotten the muscles hurting, no blisters thank god! I think i would have just offed myself to save me the pain of it all...

No, Reyo is only 1/4 Irish. She's also 1/4 Scottish, 1/8 Native American, 1/8 Dutch, 1/8 German, and 1/8 Russian.

The Irish, Native American, and Dutch are on my mom's side. The Scottish, German, and Russian are on my dad's side.

I am 1/4 polish and about 1/4 german. the other half is so much mutt i don't know what i am! But my polish comes through way more then my German so i embrace the polish side more
