That depends on the genre, but probably Anime. More interesting.

Ah crap. Such a hard question... Die with them? Isn't that such a terrible answer? T.T I'm so selfish.

Aw, man. I'd hate both. Uhm... Arctic tundra, sounds like a more pleasant way to die than of dehydration and heat... even if I hate the cold.

Would you rather dance in your undies in a thorn bush or in a busy mall?

Thorn Bush. Pain is temporary, and while I don't really care about most people in a mall, I don't want to be thrown out or have pictures on the internet.

Would you rather be able to fly or do magic?

Do magic because there's more you can do with that.

Would you rather have loved and lost it or never have loved at all?

Loved and lost isn't that great, I'd go with never have loved at all. A fantasy can live longer than a feeling.

I'd rather be alone. Crowds can get uncomfortable.

no family. At least you always like your friends.

Would you rather make lots of money doing menial labour or make little money but be in charge?

No friends, because my family would be able to fill much of the void.

EDIT: I would rather make money out of the mental labor, because that's something I am already kind of aiming for, only I don't hope to make lot of money. XD And I don't have big desire to be in charge.

A singer. Then I could go to each performance and have them sing to me. If they were an actor they couldn't really act ... to me. And I would have to watch them kissing other people and junk XP
