I agree, they can't get a grip on the reality that sometimes we just don't carry that item. Someone actually got pissy at one of our cashiers because we didn't have an item they wanted that was close to one that is at Taco Bell.

I hand orders out to people and have to deal with the customers if they get irate because their item was wrong when we give it to them and this one guy was pissing me off saying how we never get anyone's order right.
I wanted to throw this man's tacos at him and tell him to go fuck himself because it's not my fault as the wrapper of his damn tacos that his order was wrong because he was the one who assumed the cashier knew all of his tacos were to be hard shell, and only 2 were to have sauce on them. When he was the one who did not specify. -.-
I went back and told the manager who was my cookside person what we had to do after 5 minutes of having to deal with the asshole, held back my tears and anger for the day after telling her how irate he was.
Left for the day hours later and I had a couple tell me on my way out how awesome I did ^^
