Washington is also a great place to live. Minimum wage is $8.25 an hour and you don't get taxed on food. You might be taxed higher on other things but they have exquisite benefits..

In fact, I saw a house for sale that would be affordable and it looks to be in pretty decent shape.

edit;; I also know of a real estate agent in the area if this is something you'd be interested in. I'm not trying to pressure you. I am just saying that Washington is a beautiful state with good benefits and I think you might like it here. It's not too populated and the air smells fresh. Granted, we do have harsh winters sometimes, but the summers really make up for it.

374 a month?? Jesus, we are paying almost 900 a month for a 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath townhouse with a basement. ; ; That is just too cheap.

Yeah, things aren't as expensive around here. Jobs also pay lower, but things balance out.

I'm in the northern part of Idaho. I can't wait to start working and be able to afford a house. I just wish I had some money saved beforehand to have a head start. I've never had a job before and I'm 19, going to be 20 in September. I've been waiting to graduate and be out of school.

I think sometime around the end of May. It is tradition here for seniors to get out a week earlier than everyone else ^^
