"What made her your perfect, one and only?" Jones asked.

Randy VIII furrowed his brow as he gave the question some thought. "She got everything I could ask for where it really counts," he said. "No, she can't give me everything I need, but I don't expect her to. But she's there for me, she takes me like I am, an' she don't ask me to be anything I'm not. She can look after herself, but she still needs me... an' I need her, too."

Jones nodded, "And Kurt?"

"It's sorta the same for Kurt, but for different reasons," Randy VIII explained. "Whereas me an' Baby are like two halves that fit together, me an' Kurt are more like each other's reflections, equal and opposite. He shows me things in myself, as well as things I could never have without him."

"I guess I can see that," said Jones, "It still seems odd, you have Kurt and Baby and still want more..."

"Well, everybody's different," Randy VIII reasoned, "and I do like my variety."

"Look, if you and Cat have to do....anything. I don't wanna know about it!" said Jones sharply.

Randy VIII smiled slightly, not a smirk this time but in genuine agreement. "You got it, sug'."

Jones grimaced and continued on his way, "You and Cat have your talk, I won't be home until seven,"

Randy VIII considered saying something to Jones as he watched him walk away, but decided against it. Instead he changed directions and headed off to meet with Cat.

Cat opened the door for him when he arrived, "How are you?" she asked pleasantly.

"I been alright, honey; how 'bout you?" he replied on his way into the house.

"I've seen better days," she said smoothly, "Poor Timmy isn't taking things well,"

"Yeah, I noticed. I think he's comin' around, but he ain't gonna wanna hear any more about it," Randy VIII replied as he removed his coat.

"Yes, we'll just have to keep things....under the table, as it were," said Cat, taping her glossy lips with a dark red nail.

Randy VIII smiled a bit at that. "Works for me," he replied. He had plenty of experience with the matter.
