Oh gosh, the DMV doesn't sound fun at all. I need to go, eventually, to get a state ID to prove my identity.

It went horribly! We got there needed my title which I forgot, drove the 40 minutes home and got it, didn't have my new insurance card so went to get that, found out there was a problem with it so had to spend $400 on new insurance and then had an hour wait when I got back to the DMV took 5 hours

I've never had to stand in line at the DMV for longer than a few minutes. My car is registered under my folks' names, and I'm just listed as a driver, so all I have to worry about is making sure the insurance cards are in place, and the registration sticker is on the rear bumper plate. when I need to renew my license, there's rarely a line. I guess it's because while I live in the county seat, my hometown's still pretty small.

The smallest city I've ever had to get license plates in was still 300,000 people plus suburbs. Rural life does not suit me, no sir.
