I have the feeling that my jaws are too small for them to grow out. HOPEFULLY I'll inherit my mom's genes and just not have any in the first place, but I'm more like my dad, who had to get his removed....

-panics-

And, ew, Quiet, that made me a bit queasy XD

My jaw was too small which are probably why my front teeth are way more crooked than I remember them T_T

meep sorry for the really really late reply back >.<;

but yeah they don't really care around here theres only a few offices and even if they mess up you have little to no options as far as switching goes -.-; i know i was freaking out that the last time i went in for a filling the guy was drilling away and talking about how his kid wouldn't let him buy him a truck... D: im like please focus on what the hell your doing.... so your kids not a brat be proud damn it. let alone that office stopped taking the insurance i had at the time ~go figure~ so i couldn't get the rest of the work i needed done before i turned 19 xP and im moving out soon so i cant get back on my moms insurance even with going back to school heh

if im lucky and i get no further problems if i can last one more year i can get my job and have it all taken care of and afford it with or without insurance D<

I have them, but they are still under the gums. One is starting to come out, but that's a good thing because it will replace a back tooth that had to be pulled.

Yeah, it's said that it's better to get them out earlier because the roots grow in and that's what causes the pushing, but by the time mine came out they were already fully grown so it only matters to a point. Then there's also the young people doing better after surgery and what not, but that varies I guess. I was fine getting my teeth out later in life, while my sister who had her tonsils out late in life was not fine at all.

I think I might actually really bite the dentist if I had to get one yanked.

"Actually really" as in, yeah, I've bitten the dentist before >.> Rubber tastes......bleh. Not as bad as bubble-gum-flavored toothpaste.

I've only had one tooth yanked and that was a baby tooth so it had no roots to speak of. I forgot to ask for a copy of my x-ray, I wanted to keep it for my scrapbook. I can probably get a photo-copy done when I'm in the building later. I imagine they'll keep that on file for a bit. I can show off my sideways teeth!

Though I dunno for sure.
I heard it's more prone to develop infections and deep cavities.

Wisdom tooth. how can i ever forget about this one?

It was a total pain as my wisdom tooth grows out.
I had a fever. I feel so much pain that I can't even eat.
Since I can't even eat properly, my weight goes down rapidly.

After a few days it finally came out and all the pain is gone.
Wooh! I thought it would take like forever.

bleeggghhh i got mine out last summer...actually I watched the dentist take them out, sort of, since his glasses reflected my whole mouth. There was a lot of blood, thankfully i dont get too queasy about it..he had to numb my left side a lot more than the right, and as soon as i got home I could feel the left side, but nothing in the right (still numb). It was weird...

youchies! what a painful operation you have there Lost_Ninja. you deserved a bowlful of Ice cream.

They knocked me completely out. I'm glad because if they said numbimg me up was what they were going to do....I would've walked out. I do not want to remember this. They numbed me before I woke up so I wouldn't be able to feel it until after I got my pain meds lol.

I had lot of icecream, and yougurt XD tried to eat a souffle but the ham pieces gave me trouble -_-

lol I'm the opposite!! I did NOT want to be knocked out, I always want to be aware of whats going on, and only sleep if I feel ok doing so. And I like knowing how my pain came about (sounds weird, but suddenly having a sore mouth would be too weird for me)

I'm the type to watch things like that too. I hate it when I can't see a needle or something. Teeth are another story though. I HATE dentists and am more than happy to be out cold for it.
Default #31
I am good without seeing a needle. I want to know it's coming, but I don't need to see it. Perfectly fine without seeing it.

I'm really scared of wisdom teeth.
I don't want to get them. Especially since I have so many other problems with my teeth and can't afford to go to the dentist. Goodness me, I do NOT want to think about how big a bill that would be.

IF - and that's a big if, I ever go back to the dentist I'm going to have to be knocked out. There's too much work to be done and there's no way I'm staying awake for it. Plus, my last dentist kind of upset me and now I'm really anxious about the whole process. I never used to be bothered by the dentist but this guy... ugh!
