"I guess..." Gawain took notice of how abandoned the gate was. If there was a way in, it would be somewhere else. If not, a hoard of kids could have easily broken down the gates were they to work together. However, that also meant that a hoard of potentially dangerous kids would be at another entrance... It would be safer, if they could find a way through the front gate....
As he walked, his left knee sent a jolt of pain to him, and he nearly fell, catching his balance before proceeding to limp cautiously.

VIvian looked at Gawain, a small look of concern on her face. "You ok?" She asked, taking note of his limp, "You took quite a tumble." She followed him slowly, looking to see if there was anything that they could use to open the gate or any kind of opening that was big enough for them to get through.

Gawain felt his leg's pain enough for him to silently concede that he needed medical attention. Looking around, the cars were mostly smashed up or no longer operable. However, one of the hoods were open.
"What about those?" he said, point to a specific car in general. In a nearly ironic blessing, there was a noticeably large pair of wire cutters laying on the engine of one car. It didn't have a rubber handle, and it looked heavy. With his limp, he thought it would be very hard to lift alone.

Vivian thought for a moment, blinking slowly. "Guess so," She said, "I wonder how heavy they are...." She looked at Gawain before looking back at the cars, making her way over to the car. She was being cautious, taking every step slowly. She didn't want to end up being attacked if there were any people around.

After leaning against a public bus station, to rest his leg (the bench there was broken, but sitting seemed like a bad idea anyways), he took a look at the fence, again. One of the chain links closing the fence seemed more rusty than the rest of the already worn chain, and might break if it was hit hard enough. "Who knows, but I bet we can get in if we smash the chain with it." Vivi's caution made him look around as well. The white van couldn't be seen anywhere, but it was still good to keep an eye out, just in case.
