I love apple, I want a new mac but I would prefer not to have a new Ipod, those things are tiny and the bigger ones are not cheap. I would loose the tiny one and magically break the bigger one. I can't seem to find a store that sells just a regular Ipod that isn't a nano or the 180 gig one.

Unfortunately Pog, the "regular iPods" aren't sold anymore. The closest one to it is the 160 GB iPod Classic. If you wanted a regular iPod, would have to buy it used or go to eBay or something else like that.

Grr I have a natural distrust of buying things online.
I suppose I could save up to buy an ipod classic or just buy a mp3 player that cost me about 20 bucks and I can drag and drop music into it. I don't and will not ever own over about 20 gigs of music so having that much space is a waste of my money unless I can use it as an external harddrive.

I don't know what to think of it. I think that people who are more into apps than music would rather get an iPod touch or an iPhone, but if you're pretty much solely listening to music, the iPod is definitely a refresher that the iPod still exists.

Ah, the T-Mobile Tap. I was running one of those for a while. Not a BAD phone -- as featurephones go, it was quite nice; it was ALMOST a smartphone, if you could ignore the performance issues.

I'm a big fan of the iPad, myself. I have an iPod Nano 1st Gen but its battery life has gotten really bad over the years so I've just started using my cell phone for music.

I have my old iPhone4 now... but since I upgraded to a Galaxy S3... It's really just an iPod touch now and honestly I really really want those actual iPod touches for some reason. Granted IDK why. Actually I do: colour. but I have no reason to get one ;-; so I probably won't...

I've had mine since 2005, and the center button is semi-broke. It works, if you hit it on the one side. The other side is indented into the iPod.

I'd say so Lio....sounds like you got a good run out of it. I was that way with one of my iPod Videos (5th gen)

I would prefer a Zune or a Sony MP3 player, but iPod is good also.
