Maybe you could just ask them why they keep asking whether you need anything if you think they're doing it to hint at something?

I'm reserved and a little bit reclusive, people equate that with shyness, but most people who get to know me find out that such is not the case. I daresay I'm generally a very confident individual and my social skills are very good.

I liked the idea of having a hangout that was causal and yet not a "Club" per say, something people didn't have to commit to and could come back as regulars or just drop in from time to time, a pub is a nice cozy place to be with the right atmosphere and the right company.

*nods slowly* I know what you mean.
