Peanut butter. >.< It's not good for me in large quantities though, so I try to eat sugar snap peas.

A: usually variations of the same look unless I'm going for something specific. I reuse some avatars as well.

Good old H2O

12. Do you participate in avatar dress up competitions?

A: Sometimes, with varying results.

66. Is there a food or drink that you used to really like that you don't anymore?

Pineapple. I used to seriously love it and now I don't.

Also Mushrooms.

13. What is your favorite holiday?

A: Christmas!

And it's the opposite for me, with mushrooms.

67. What about a TV show or type of music you used to love but now can't stand?

Actually a large chunk of the things that I used to like I don't anymore.

14. What holiday tradition do you like the most?

A: going with our own traditions, Christmas eve dinner, or the whole production really. It's massive, so we do it on the eve so that can sleep in, have left overs, and overall be lazy on Christmas day.

Generally though, I think I just like decorating, especially the tree. I have no tree this year and I'm sad. I haven't found a good fake mini one to decorate either. All my personal decorations are packed away, or missing. Very sad about the missing ones.

68. Do you have something you consider yourself to be a huge fan of?

I am a really big Tolkien fan (not as big a fan as my husband, but he's the one that really got me into the Silm fandom so...) I also consider myself to be a decent fan of HomeStuck... hmmm

15. Are there any you would happily do away with?

A: Fancy dinner on Christmas day, and having to dress up for it. That's a different wing of the family.

69. Have you ever read any fanfiction for something you like?

I've read fanfiction for things I don't even like just because I will get stuck in a loop reading things...

Also I think I burned myself out on mushrooms when I first became vegetarian because we ate them all the time for a while. Now I don't like them.

No, those we've got. It's a box of items I purchased for myself, and some I got as gifts. I'm also missing a box of special China cups that I can't find either, which makes me think I stashed those someplace away from general storage, so naturally I can't find them now.

I took to mushrooms after trying a Newfoundland steak recipe and we forgot a bunch of the seasoning so I ate the mushrooms to add flavour. I also have always liked cream of mushroom soup, then my sister made awesome BBQ mushrooms. Who would have thought?


16. What is a new thing you would like to see become a tradition for your holiday season?

A: mushing holidays together into a sort of month long thing (sort of like what Saturnalia was! ;))

I have relatives that do Hanukkah so we have two festive days this year, as we pile to each relevant house for the relevant celebration.

56. Do you know what country/countries your family came from?

I know on my dad's side it's Ireland. Not sure about mom's side.

70. Have you ever written fanfiction for something you like?

I've written a LOT of fanfiction...also just regular fiction.

17. What's your favorite food you only get to eat during the holidays?

A: Eggnog (it was sold early for Thanksgiving this year!) and the plethora of cookies we make.
