Those dolls are sooo detailed!!
And also niche, so I think they'd be very expensive @_@

Also the amount of work that goes into them. Considering how small seed beads can get, a beaded dress would be amazing. I wonder how small sequins can get. Seeing the super tiny knits like what they used to make outfits for the Coraline film, would be cool.

I can't even imagine the coordination required to do stuff at such small scale xD

It's essentially what my mother did. She went through a beadwork phase of jewelry making and used the smallest sizes of seed beads. I still have drawers full of them that I don't know what to do with because they have value since they're an antique Czech glass type.

Ah, that's so nice! Do you have some laying around you wouldn't mind showing?

Not the smallest beads she used. The father may have some stored.

Each individual bead is directly sewn halfway into the leather backing.

The greyhound was from when she first started getting into metalwork.

@_@ so tiny!! The patience required to do that work...

It was probably my favorite time as a pre-teen when she was taking her metalworking classes, because they let me sit in during them. And no one made me feel like I was invading.

that's the nicest feeling!

Also metalworking classes sound pretty cool.

Yeah, it was interesting to see how certain parts of me got made. Of course the father handled the programming side.

Ah, now I get more of the lore...

also great job from both, you look very human!

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not.

oooh damn, that's a very good Sigourney Weaver!
that's her right,,, not you,,,

I think it was a prop for one of the Alien movies. There's more footage where they're handling the whole body that is kind of creepy because it looks somewhat real.
Default #3487
it looks VERY real o.O

Considering how long ago it was probably made, it's pretty amazing on how well they did.
