Mizuki watched everything about the fight. Taking in all of the different ways the males before him used to fight. It was funny to him. Mizuki could tell from the link that Thalion was toying with the male. Looking at him you wouldnt be able to see that. No Thalion acted almost perfectly like Needren had the upper hand. Then when the male didnt expect it he came fourth with his attack.

In a swift movement the blade was out of Needrens hand landing in the dirt a little ways away from them as Thalion kicked out his knee and forced him to kneel. Quickly the blade was at the males neck. Mizuki shook his head "Well there is our winner" He said looking to Felix with a smile before he turned and walked forward.

"Alright alright" He said "Break it up" Mizuki said looking at the two as he walked up. He notices however that it took Thalion a little longer then it should of but he did move the sword. This caused Needren to growl "You should of pulled that blade drow" He said standing as he looked to Thalion with a glare "Would of saved you alot of trouble" He said with a laugh soon after.

Mizuki shook his head "Enough with you!" He said slapping the male up side the head causing Needren to groan. "If you dont I will do what he didnt" Mizuki said sighing some. Needren knew he wouldnt and so did Mizuki. It was an empty threat but a threat none the less. "Either way...its time to share the field." Mizuki said with a nod of his head.

"Well come on Felix" He shouted to the male "You are to fight me" Mizuki said and he watched as the male began to protest "No. You are going to come here and fight me!" He said pouting a little. Though this was when he growled and crossed his arms. He really was pouting. Mizuki had come here to spar and fight. Not to watch a pair try to kill each other then get rejected in the end. It made him angry and sad at the same time.

Felix nodded a bit following Mizuki as Needren was exchanging a few last words that Thalion should have pulled his blade. "Tsk.. if I wanted you dead why go through the trouble of a spar ... " Could just as easily have set him on fire any of the countless times he saw him through the days. Though he dropped it none the less.

Felix sighed giving up as he walked over. Though Needren seemed to pipe up it would be amusing to watch Thalion and Mizuki spar. "It would not be amusing and it would cut any said training that is suppose to be going on short.." He glared a little. The link between them would make the lesson short indeed if they were hitting one another.

Felix still seemed to be against the idea of this. "Stop complaining, not like Mizuki is using magic." That was true enough. This was suppose to be hand to hand combat training, he remember Mizuki had been trying to get some in for a while. Though it seemed that this would be a interesting training session as it was expected that Needren and himself were to get along.

He hated the link though it had its perks at the same time. A perk was that as far as this training went Mizuki should fair well seeing as Thalion wasn't fighting at all so he should keep his energy pretty well, that and probably a bit resilience against being hit as well. downside was that if they fought one another then it would be a short session... also with Mizuki being a magic user it drained Thalion quickly if the other used too much energy.

Mizuki moved and stood some ways away from Felix before he turned and looked at the male. "Alright...dont hold anything back!" Mizuki said with a smile as he yelled to the male. Mizuki didnt want Felix to go easy. No he needed the training. Bawling his fits Mizuki stood there for a moment before he lowered himself a little to the ground.

Looking at Felix he sized the male. He stood about the same height he did though his build was much larger and thicker then he was. Thinking of the best way to hand this he began heading towards the male. Slowly the speed began to pick up before he was almost in front of the male in mere moments.

Mizuki made like he was going to swing at the male but came up short and watched as Felix threw the first punch. Dodging it he last out nad kicked the male in the side before jumping back from and dodging a blow from Felix. So the fight was on.

Thalion cringed a little at the thought of one of those punches landing full force. He had been on the receiving end of them before. None the less the fight had started and even though there was a speed advantage against Felix the other was hardly slow. Normally Felix had a heavy two handed weapon, so without a weapon he could attack quite a bit faster.

After Mizuki jumped back from a few blows was when he must have thought he was doing good and Felix finally landed one forcing Mizuki back. Thalion saw that one coming by the other's stance and everything as he shook his head a little. "jumping around like that is a waste of energy." going on explaining some of the better methods of avoiding a hit without jumping back and being predictable in movements.

Though asking Needren on this he said moving about was the better option. Sure with wind magic maybe... Though there was something they did agree on and that was how to properly block melee attacks. for now it as just focused on hand to hand. Weapon blocks would be explained later.

Mizuki panted as he dodged the attacks though he knew he was doomed the moment he misplaced his foot. He grunted as the fist met his jaw sending him to the side. Yep that hurt alright. Shaking his head for a moment he attacked Felix all over again. This time Mizuki watching the swing of the arms as Felix punched and kicked out towards him.

Mizuki had landed a few hits here and there though nothing that did real damage. This continued on for awhile before Mizuki made an error that he knew he was going to regret. Swinging at the male before him he got to close. He watched as Felix moved back a little and as his fist just went past his face.

Mizuki saw the smirk on those lips and he knew he was fucked. Mizuki had just enough time to close his eye before that large fist hit the side of his head. From there it was like a sack of potatoes hitting floor. Mizuki didnt have a chance to correct himself or fight back. No as soon as that fist hit his temple his lights were out with a groan.

Well there was a bit Mizuki needed to improve on still. Like regaining his footing properly after blocking or missing a hit. Plus the fact he had speed over Felix and not strength. Hit wise Mizuki would never be able to bring Felix down with mere punches. Heck Thalion didn't have a prayer in that really. Not that anyone mentioned this to Mizuki at the time.

After a while some of the foot work did get better though Thalion could tell Mizuki was started to wear down slowly and it was showing in each attempted him and in his stances. Though thats when he saw the opening Felix needed. Though he wasn't expecting Mizuki to get knocked out by it as he winced from the sudden jolt of pain that came from the hit.

As Mizuki lay there he shook his head a little to try and shake off the sting that the blow had still. "Ok.. he needs.. a lot of work still." Though Needren seemed to find humor in this as Thalion glared at him. "I vote we link you to Felix and see how long you survive..." He hissed at him. At this rate if Mizuki got hit a few times during a battle he would hardly be in any shape to fight himself.

Felix laughed weakly before rubbing the back of his neck a little. "I didn't mean to hit him that hard." Thalion shook his head a little knowing that was hardly as hard as Felix could hit. "He'll learn to dodge." That was true enough, get hit enough times you learned to avoid it sooner or later. That or you were into pain.

None the less Mizuki was moved so he was laying in bed until he came back to. Thalion was expecting that to happen sooner or later. Of course Neimi freaked out a little asking what the hell happened and she thought it was a training session. Well it was.. just a bit of a unfair one. Though Mizuki wanted to get better and seeing as Thalion couldn't personally spar against him.. and he didn't trust Needren to spar seriously... let alone didn't trust him at all.

Mizuki groaned as he began to stir. His head felt like it was split in two. Opening his eyes it took him a moment to realize that he was at home in his bed. Closing his eyes he groaned again before he forced himself to sit up. Sitting there hunched hover he cracked his neck before he looked around. Being seemingly alone Mizuki took his time to get out of the bed.

After a few moments he moved to the side before he stood. Though with the sudden movement he found himself sitting back on the bed. "Not to self...fast movement is not a good thing" He said before he stood again. Taking a moment to balance himself he gave a sigh as he left the room. Walking down the little hall he heard voices before he came into the open area of the kitchen and living room.

This is where he saw Thalion in the kitchen cooking, Felix and Neimi sat at the kitchen table with Raden and the babies. Mizuki stood there for a moment and watched what he called his family idoly talk. From there Mizuki moved and walked over to Thalion before placing his head on the males shoulder with a groan "That...hurt" He said with a sigh. He had the proof of the little spar with the large bruise on the side of his pale face. He was lucky however that his eye was not closed do to the bruise. That would of been great.

"So...I have come to the conclusion that I no longer want to fight Felix" He said before turning to the male in question "Sorry" He said with a smile though he got a shrug from Felix and something along the lines of shit happens as a reply. Turning his head back he gave Thalion a kiss before he moved away and headed for the table.

Reaching Raden he smiled at the poor half elf sitting there. He looked so out of place holding Belquiri "Dont worry I will rescue lad" He said before reaching down and taking a giggling Belquiri out of his arms. Sitting down in the spare chair Mizuki turned the female in his lap after he crossed his legs with a smile "Whos papa's pretty girl?" He asked the little child as she kicked her feet and squeeled.

Thalion had kept a eye on Mizuki as long as he could but there were some things that had to still be done. Like dinner and such. Granted there were a few extra heads in the house then what normally was here. Felix had just come back cause he was determined to apologize for that hit. Though Thalion said it was hardly needed, it was a good lesson in his opinion of things.

Neimi was watching Raden she found it amusing that he seemed to almost hate kids. Well not hate but be displaced by them. She was determined to get him over that though. If she was ever asked to watch the kids she dragged him into it. Even though by this age they could be watched by one person really. They weren't quite as dependent.

Thalion laughed a little as Mizuki said that hurt. "Yeah.. I know, I curse that link about now." He didn't have a bruise from it but it still stung that was for sure. "Should probably think about putting some ice on it though. It'll help with the swelling." He had a good point. Though when Mizuki mentioned not wanting to fight Felix anymore Thalion really did laugh at that. "Here I thought we were going to get to weapon training, though I do suppose we need you in one piece."

He had plans for this training idea though. Like heck he was going to go about worrying if Mizuki got hit how bad it would effect him if not put them both in danger. Seeing as each passing day the troops he had been working with were more trained then ever he did find a bit of free time. Normally he spent it on repairs or some other task that needed to be done. Though repairs were actually nearly caught up and now there was the idea of training Mizuki himself. Just not with sparing...

Raden laughed weakly at Mizuki saying he'd rescue him. He looked like he needed it. Neimi pouted a little before standing and scooping the other up who was soon going to be a trouble maker being a bit more out going then his sister. "He needs to get use to kids... " She shook her head a little as the little one tried to paw towards something on a shelf she was near but just out of reach for him of.

"Ever think I don't want kids?" Raden piped up saying before leaning back on his hands a little. "So you're going to be the lonely bachelor for the rest of your miserable days? Pff you like socializing too much for that to happen." She smiled at the thought of it. "Besides... these two are only a handful because they are related to some hardheaded drow we know." Thalion started to say something at that but stopped before bothering. She had a point he could be stubborn at times. That similar attitude really shows up in the little male.

Mizuki was sitting there cooing to Belquiri as Raden spoke though this made him laugh "Yeah just some drow I knew at one point" Mizuki said looking to Raden "This one didnt want kids...or marriage...though the last time I checked he had two and a ring on his finger" Mizuki said with a smile and laugh as cought the glare from Thalion "So you see things can change" He said as he bounced Belquiri on his knee.

After that night things settled down though Mizuki refused to fight with Felix. No that hit was something that he didnt want again. So instead Thalion offered to help him out. Mizuki disagreed with that though. The thought of the connection between the two of them made Mizuki stop and think about it. The last thing they needed was to hurt each other more then intended.

However Thalion decided to explain the properties of the spars. It was only to train the movement of his feet and body so that a punch like that wouldnt happen again. It took some convincing but after awhile Mizuki gave into him. So from there little sessions began with Thalion sparring Mizuki and explaining the things that he was doing wrong.

Thats what led to this moment. Miizuki stood there across from Thalion panting as he stood in a locked leg placement with his arms before him and his fists bawled. They had been working on this for the last week or more. Now that the babies were now the size of the three year old it was easier to get some time away. Neimi often offered and it was all to easy to agree.

"Again!" Mizuki said as he pushed off and charged the male before him. Running up he ducked the punch from Thalion before he came up to the males side and lashed out a leg that was blocked. This continued on as the two of them fought back and fourth. It was a dance that had been doing for a long time now.

Mizuki growled as he blocked a leg from Thalion before gaining his ground and lashing out at the male before him cracking him in the jaw. Mizuki smirked at that as he watched Thalion turn to the side a little before stopping. That was the first hit Mizuki had landed since the first day they had started these little lessons. "Finally..." Mizuki said as he panted standing there.

Mizuki knew that there was some force behind the punch as he felt the little sting in his jaw as well. "Well...any notes this time?" Mizuki asked in a pant as he moved and sat down on the ground where he stood. Sighing he cracked his neck a little before leaning back and resting on his elbows. He was kind of tired.

Mizuki was right on what he was telling Raden, things did indeed change. Heck they had changed rapidly at that. The very person who he had struggled to beat over the years and here they were. Let alone were married and had kids. All of this was a bit much at times when he thought about it. Shaking his head a little he went back to focusing on what he was doing.

Things did settle down after that night, going back to normal if you could call things that. Mizuki refused to fight Felix, for a while Thalion tried to talk the other into letting him work with him. Sure it would lead to sparring but they didn't have to go all out. Even just working on things you could get better at avoiding hits or blocking.

It would do Mizuki some good and it might save them both in the long run of things. The less hits Mizuki took and the more he could block or avoid getting said hits meant the less Thalion had to worry about some unknown strike affecting his own fighting. That was the last thing they needed was for Mizuki to get hit and for them both to end up in trouble because of it.

After a while he did finally talk the other into it. It had been a long process of working with him every chance he got and Mizuki was actually having the worse one out of anyone to teach him such things. Thalion was a excellent trainer that was no doubt but to say the least it was a strive for perfection that made his training difficult.

But after everything Mizuki finally did land a hit. It was a decent hit at that. Ok actually that was a really good hit to admit it. Mizuki seemed to notice it and said finally before he moved and sat down. Asking for notes about the same time as Thalion seemed to think on it a moment, hrm yep that was blood. He shrugged a little before spitting and rubbing where Mizuki had hit. "yeah.. lift weights." Though he was joking.

He sighed finally before moving to sit next to Mizuki. "Seriously though.. maybe a follow up hit." Though he knew very well why there wasn't one. Now they just had to get him to the point of doing that every day and a few times... Though that thought was a short lived one as a sudden voice rang out shortly followed by a sudden tackle from no where.

Ah yes... seems someone got bored with Neimi again. Let alone out of anyone here and it was a child that managed to get the most hits on Thalion. Granted it was a bit unfair and lack of warning that normally led to it. Either way sitting was not the case now as he was flat on the ground with a young Nytria almost proudly sitting where he had landed half preventing Thalion from trying to get up. "I dread that when you get older..." Was the half winded groan from Thalion.

Neimi laughed a little walking over with Belquiri trotting towards Mizuki. She was a lot calmer then her brother that was certain. It was like night and day almost between the two. "They both wanted to get out of the house... though I suppose I should have known where they wanted to go." She apologized to Thal for the unexpected attack form no where.

Being three years old in looks and development, it had been a rapid jump and at times he almost forgot they weren't little infants. Though this was a good reminder to how old they were. Keeping them confined was not nearly as easy as it use to be that was certain.

Mizuki gave a little laugh as the male said to lift weights. It was a thought to be honest. Though Mizuki didnt have much time to think on that as Thalion continued to speak to him. "A fallow up hit yes I understand the logic there" He said "But after that first one I didnt want to hit again" He said laughing a little as he cracked his neck again.

Mizuki didnt have a chance to say anything else as he heard a shriek behind them "DADDY!" So the free time was up was it. Mizuki thought as he watched Nytria tackle Thalion to the ground. "I dread that when you get older..." The male said and he gave a little laugh as the child sat on Thalions back clapping his hands with his small victory. It was shocking to Mizuki how much the little male reminded him of Thalion. Everything was there just in a smaller forum.

Looking over he smiled as Neimi walked up and spoke "They both wanted to get out of the house... though I suppose I should have known where they wanted to go." She said and Mizuki shook his head as he opened his arms and hugged a calm Belquiri as the female sat in his lap. She was more like Mizuki in alot of wayes mainly the calm aspect.

"Dont worry about it" He said looking to Neimi "We were going to call it a day anyways" He said with a smile though this was when Belquiri brightened up "Really papa!?" She asked and Mizuki nodded down at her "Yes indeed..." He said and she boucned a little "Can we go a walk!?" She asked and Mizuki looked to Thalion.

It was one thing the children seemed to love to do. Have a walk at night. With their eyes it was an easy trip though half the time Mizuki had problems. "That my dear is a question for your daddy" He said going to kiss the top of her head though he connected with nothing as the little one was out of his arms joining her brother on Thalions back. In doing so foiling an attempt at getting up. "Can we daddy?!" They both asked at the same time and Mizuki couldnt help the laugh he gave.

Well that calm certainly died quickly. With one on his back he could have managed getting up but that soon turned into having two overly excited children on his back giving him little choice in the thought of getting up. Neimi giggled a bit watching Thalion try to get up right before Belquiri had joined her brother.

"If I say yes will you get off my back?" He huffed a little finding out that two kids on your spine was heavier then you would think. Belquiri took that as her answer as she quickly got off and dragged her brother with her. both of them grinning knowing exactly what they needed to do to get a yes out of Thalion. Though he had no reason to say no, normally such trips were short and nothing happened so.

Thalion sighed finally before standing and cracking his back a little. "Why is it up to me anyway? You can see well enough with a torch." He said looking towards Mizuki who seemed as amused by this as Neimi. Tough Mizuki probably only told them to ask him because he didn't mind in the first place. Though it was a bit unfair to sick two children on him like that.

Though with getting the answer they wanted the two seemed to start off towards the camp entrance to wait for Mizuki and Thalion to catch up. He shook his head a little before helping Mizuki get up. "Guess that answers when they wanted to go.. heh."

Mizuki laughed at the sight before him. Even as the male turned to him and asked why it was up to him all he could do was smile "Because..." Was all he said with a little shrug of his shoulders. Though this was when the kids began to head to the entrance way and Mizuki smile "Seems like it" He said to Thalions comment before he was helped to his feet. "An yes I know though I find a torch is a hazard for unwanted company" He said with a little shrug.

Non the less though on the way out the door he grabbed a touch and lit it before the group of four left the caves. The walks normally did last that long. What with Mizuki worrying and all they had a certain route that he liked to take. It was a simple walk around a group of trees that was some ways from the entrance though something told him tonight was going to be different.

Heading out the cave Mizuki and Thalion walked with the two young childern between them. "Seems like a nice night" He said to Thalion as he looked at the male. The sky was clear and the moon was bright helping in the aid for him to see things. Stars dotting the sky and twinkled clearly as the small group walked.

As they continued Mizukis ears twitched a little before his foot falls stopped. Mizuki stood there for a moment and Thalion turned to him and and asked what was wrong. Mizuki turned it to the side "I thought I heard something..." He said lowly as he reached out a hand to Belquiri that stood by him. However this was when he looked past Thalion "Um...where is Nytria?" He asked Thalion as worry sank his heart.

They did have a set route they took. Far enough away from camp to be out and long enough that normally the children were tired by the time they got back. If they didn't end up carrying them on the trip back even. Nothing ever happened, it was a commonly patrolled route so it was safe enough. It's why they even picked it or even agreed to walks in the first place.

Tonight was well enough, the moon was out there wasn't anything out of place or wrong at the moment. Even the temperature was ok considering. Though the setting of peace seemed short lived as Mizuki stopped. Questioning the other Mizuki spoke saying he thought he heard something.

Though the next question made Thalion worry a bit. Normally he didn't jump to things being wrong but they were missing someone. "He was... " How the heck did a child get away from them that quickly? Heck he could even see at the moment and well at that and still saw no trace of him. Though there seemed to be a noise that followed the slight panic in both himself and Mizuki.

This was when Thalion had drawn a blade already not willing to risk being ill prepared for whatever that seemed to be near. What made it worse was he didn't see anything moving past a noise every once in a while. Belquiri stayed close to Mizuki as she seemed to also be looking for where Nytria ran off to. "Take her back, I'l look for Nytria." Even with the bit of light out tonight Mizuki wasn't as useful as he as in a fight during the day.

Mizuki stood there as he heard another noise and this was when Thalion drew his blade "Be carefull" He said to him as he was told to head back to the camp. Picking Belquiri up he held the female in his arms as he turned and with hurrying feet he headed for the camp. Mizuki knew something was going to go wrong he just had that feeling. It was hard to say no to the kids at times though this seemed to be one of the nights that he should of listened to that feeling.

However something drew his attention. It was a sound that was not that far away "I know that cry" Mizuki said to himself as he turned and his feet lead him to a crying Nytria "Baby over here!" Mizuki said as he rushed to male and picked him up "What on earth were-" But he stopped as he turned barely missing the claws that were swiped at him.

Jumping back Mizuki hissed at the damage to his arm. Four long gashes led across his arm that were bleeding pretty good. Mizuki however didnt have time to judge damage as he jumped back again with a growl as the mountain lion jumped after him. "THALION!" Mizuki yelled as he dodged claws left right and center. He knew that the male was close and right now that was his only hope. With the two kids one in each arm that were crying he couldnt cast a spell. All he could do was jump around dodging the creature hoping that Thalion showed soon.

Thalion would have listened to Mizuki saying he felt bad about tonight. Normally Mizuki wasn't wrong with such feelings. Good or bad really. Though the other never mentioned anything so now they were faced with something stalking them and one of the children missing at the moment. Though he would be careful.. the last thing he wanted to think about was these two having to grow up without the family they had grown use to thus far.

He didn't get too far before a sudden pain in his arm let him know something was wrong, though the yell after was when he knew where to move to. "Damn it.. what now." He hissed before trying to track where Mizuki had gone to. Though it didn't take long before hissing and growling let him know, well along with cries from what sounded like both of the children.

Mizuki was lucky that he had been close as the next lunge the beast did would have landed a rather damaging blow. Though Thalion had gotten there just in time to make sure it didn't land as the over sized cat hissed and lowered its ears back and tried to strike again seeing as Thalion had cut the beast the first time to make sure it's strike fell short.

The second lunge the beast did was it's last meeting the blade through it's chest before Thalion forced it to the ground and pulled the blade back and breathed out a little trying to even out his breathing from that being almost too close of a call.

After the creature seemed to be dead he looked towards Mizuki trying to figure out if any of them were hurt past the gash that Mizuki seemed to have on his arm. "Are-" He started before finding a bit more breath. "Are you ok? Are they?" There was a better way to ask that but that could be worried about at another time.
