I don't have anything sparkly, but would like some. Although, there isn't really any place to wear it other than the grocery store. My closet is basically just some boring cheap shirts that are several years old.

Pastels are nice. They've gotten quite popular again, even with menswear.

not just pastels but 1940's hawaiian buttonups! i was joking with my motherinlaw and husband that we should all wear matching ones in pastel since they come in so many colours

oh no, i know i wear it well. there is a hawaiian-print shirt for everyone, you just have to know what your cut, size and colour combo is ^^ the issue comes that in the scheme of it i look best in blue, my husband in pink and my motherinlaw in yellow or green but she wants to be the one in pink and both my husband and myself look bad in yellow so we cannot swap around and the red, green and navy do not match because the other three are pastels and none of us look good in the red

It sounds like cool tones in general work for you? Maybe a more muted cool toned yellow could work? I like that you all collectively wear the print.

I wonder if there's more abstract or interesting variations of the print. Similar to how camouflage and houndstooth get reinterpreted. I'd be interested in a neon neutral color scheme.

i work best ranging from cool-purples to grey-greens. duller are better as are weak-to-moderate pastels. my skin has a neutral-blue undertone, a pallid overtone and my hair&eyes are dark. warmer stuff makes me look less sickly but not in a flattering way XD i go from 'tim-burton british' looking to 'ran all the way here'

i dunno, i do know there are services to print your own patterns though, you could possibly make your own in an art program(or commission someone else to) and order a few yards?

Hmm, I was hoping that it would already exist. Would have to have someone else do everything since I have no skills, which would be expensive.

mdom: I can't seem to get away from using sheer items. But yet again, stuck with finding items that work...but they only come in limited color combinations. We could really use a shop update.
