A shade is like an entity made out of shadows, and as stories change from place to place they can be made up of other things that shadows, like bad memories or trouble or things like that. I figure it makes a better way to describe your avatar than imp because they are usually small demons or things of that nature.

yesh, that happened to me at the beach. I found a really good book and forgot my sun screen. XD I should make you a blanket too to keep this from happening.
