I dunno. But I always had the opposite problem with my ex. I could never sleep next to him. He used to say it was because subconsciously, I felt so protective over him that I didn't want to sleep. XD

But only being able to have good dreams while he is next to you is so sweet. I guess it means you feel bad, even a bit scared when you're not with him, resulting in nightmares. That's what I think is sweet about it. ^^
