Hey! AOL and Netscape aren't all that awful. Well, they weren't ALWAYS awful, I should say. AOL was fine until about.. Oh, 1998? Then they became real cashmongers like the Gaian admins, and.. Well, that's when the AOL stocks crashed as a result of the poor customer service. Netscape just couldn't keep up. If you guys knew the AOL and Netscape I knew when I was 13, you'd agree it's not all that bad. Originally, they were two of the first methods of accessing the internet. And they were EPIC.

Yeah, but AOL chatrooms are a sampling of a large population. Each room has its chance of overflowing with seedy types, or of being a safe haven from said seedy types. It all depends on where you go.. Of course, back in my day, girls weren't expected to care about anything that dealt with computers, geeks, nerds, or RPing. So surfing those areas for girls was like searching the ocean for packs of roaming hyenas.
