My roommate figure skates. I started taking a class.... but was super super bored..... *grew up with only brothers* and i'm a tom boy..... but i switched into the hockey class and freaking loved it! it's soooooo amazing!

I would play hockey... But I have watched too many movies... Those poor people. *Shudder*

What do you mean too many movies?

There are a good number of Hockey movies out, and people always get rammed into walls and stuff like that. I even saw on TV once during a game, a guy got hit in the face with the pucks, and it knocked out some of his teeth.

Yea you do get hit into the walls, but depending on the division you can be in mostly non contact ones which was what i was in essentially, and i loved it!

Non-contact? I didn't know they did that. It's not that I don't like contact sports... I'm just still not good at stopping myself when on skates of anytimes...

You learn pretty quickly on hockey skates. It's way fun though. And I love it, it's a really good way to release stress!

I'm kind of like that with Football. I might be small, but I'm not weak.

I actually did something surprising back in middle school. I was playing football during lunch, and demanded that I play linebacker. The other players (read: Actual football team) sort of laughed, but let me. I know they set me across from the biggest guy on purpose, and they were wanting him to flatten me so I'd give up, but when we started I not only stopped a guy three times my size, but pushed him back a good five feet. I was tired after that round.

*giggles* wow that is really really cool luna! never be intimidated!

Yeah... I felt like my arms were on fire afterwards, and I never did anything like that afterwards... I'd probably have died if I did.

What is it like... Being on the Hockey field?

It is crazy doing 2 or 3 minute shifts, and the feel of the air whipping past you as you skate down the rink, and being able to steal the puck and going in for the goal, it's exhilarating. But more so I just love being out playing with the guys. It's awesome. Oh dear, i'm such a tom boy..... *giggles*

Is that a bad thing... I might join one if my college has one, especially if they have a coach like the Mighty Ducks did.
