Actually some people would argue :3 BL would be equal to the japanese name Shounin Ai. the Non sinister type of Boys love manga.. Yaoi is the more Hard core stuff.. but a lot of people who study japanese get pissed off at people who Use the word Yaoi so casually. cause Yaoi is suppose to be no plot no point man on man Smut *same for the Yuri.. but with females* xD

the GL for the non sinister part would be Shoujo Ai. and just like with Yaoi.. Yuri would be used for the.. Girl on Girl smut :3 (yaoi/yuri fan who had to point that out) =w= sorry

I find it funny and sad when some Americans, who know that Yuri is suppose to be Girl on Girl stuff, Find a Asian girl named Yuri, they go.. OMG your name is Girl on Girl.. I saw someone get slapped for that! xD it was in the Japanese Restuarunt Sakura x3 it was so funny!
