I haven't tried it either. Seems like it would be more of a... texture rather than flavor.

Like just the puff with the typical churro flavoring? Or the cheese flavor mixed with churro?

It tasted like cinnamon to me |D mostly because I hate cinnamon so I always feel it in things

Considering how the spicy hot Cheetos are popular, I wonder if wasabi will ever become a flavor.

so the first time my family had sushi, my younger brother took the whole glob of wasabi paste and popped it into his mouth. he didn't know what he was. it was just the kind of dumb thing he'd do, not knowing what something is and never having tasted it but still stuffing it whole into his mouth. anyway, it gets dumber because he had too much of a pride to spit it out at once, and he sat there opening and shutting his mouth, gasping and eyes watering, while we told him over and over to spit it out. finally he did.

the thing about wasabi is it's not just your tongue that burns, the burn travels up your nose, down your throat into your chest. brothers are idiots.

I love wasabi. I'd eat a whole blob if I had that much available to eat at once. Just clean all sinuses, ready to breathe fire.

Maybe we can try to make our own. That was a recent thing that Claire from Bon Apetit did, we just try to figure out the wasabi instead. Everything involves a good dehydrator.

Wasabi would probably be good for colds.

Edit: Also, have you had real wasabi? Because isn't most of it dyed horseradish?

Good question, even though that plant doesn't seem to be native from here.
I did once buy a japanese paste.

Was it frozen? Looks like the real stuff loses flavor too quickly and is hard to grow.
