Revo for orochi and susano have released today.

I... did not know that Skill Assist got reworked.

I've been avoiding picking up Tans because they're just box space hogs. My mailbox is full of Tan dungeons that I haven't wanted to open. Bloody heck, if I had known I could fuse six of them together to get something that would guarantee a skill-up I would have had monsters with better skill ranks by now. >_<

And I never knew that assists with the same main element granted a stat bonus! I've been freaking missing out!

Yeah. Uvo a Tan with five other Tans of the same color as materials and you end up with a King Tan. If you feed a King Tan to a monster along 1-4 skillup fodder monsters then each of those skillup monsters has a 100% skillup chance. For example, right now if I fed a King Badtan and four Red Dragon Fruits to my Eschamali, I'd get four guaranteed skillups. (Not that it actually matters, my Eschamali's maxed out, but, y'know.)

And I assigned my Karin as an assist on my Aizen, and Aizen got a hefty bump to HP, ATK, and RCV based on Karin's stats.

that's good to know about the Tans, so King tans are kind of like the py things (like shynpy)?

Sort of, but Pys are better. Pys are just a guaranteed skillup, end of story. King Tans require you to have a material that COULD skillup a monster and it just improves the skillup rate to 100% instead of whatever it normally is (20%?).

But Tans are a LOT cheaper to get -- they show up in urgent dungeons, whereas Pys are rare and cost lots of monster points to buy.

yeah, so in the long run its probably better to use them. x'D

Evo Tan to make king tan, Fuse your mon with king tan and 4 mats for guaranteed skill up. I like that they did that but i hate that it takes 6 tans. 1 as base and 5 for evo

Which is nice but when you don't have the box space it's a pain
