The doctor told me I'm highly contagious. I just feel bad for the little kid that gave it to me. I'm pretty sure I know who it was, and he was clearly feeling miserable. He cried the whole time, and we couldn't get in touch with the parents to come pick him up. I hate that they brought him in when he was clearly sick.

I hate when my coworkers do that. I understand you need hours but some of us do not want to be sick. And now I have one of my coworkers trying to tell me to go home because my allergies have kicked up lately. And I feel for that child, they couldn't get any one to watch him at home?

I work in a daycare at a church, so they brought him in just so they could go to the sermon. They could have watched the sermon online if it was that important. The child's health should come first. I've been sick for over a week with no signs of improving, and have had to miss work because of it. If this is how bad I've gotten it, I can't imagine how that little kid was feeling. I work with toddlers. He was two.

xD I suppose if it makes you feel better, he is probably giving his parents hell now. Man Toddlers got lungs on them. I do not work with them directly but the place I work at is a craft store and until school starts we have programs for kids and moms with huge ass strollers that block the isles. I can some what feel your pain.

The doctors have not given you anything for it?

can someone let his folks know not to bring him back if he is still sick for health-saftey purposes?

I told them when they picked him up that I thought he might be sick. They aren't supposed to bring the children in if they're sick because it threatens the health of the other kids, along with the caregivers. I also told my supervisor about it, and she said she'd take care of it, so I can only hope that they did.

They gave me some pills for my sore throat, but other than that, no. We actually called in this morning because I had three nosebleeds yesterday, and woke up with bloodshot eyes, so I'm off of the pills they gave me. The doctor we spoke to was shocked that they'd prescribed be an immune suppressant.

Other than that, I'm just on sudafed and cough medicine.

What in the hell kind of doctor does that? I thought they would have given you antibiotics in the first place. >.> I think you may need to find another one.

They won't give me antibiotics because it's not a bacterial infection. It's viral, so the antibiotics wouldn't do anything to help. I think they just gave me the pills to keep my throat from hurting. It was so bad I was crying from the pain, and the pills did help with that, but were making everything else worse.
