Yeah, I've had some people choose not to renew a lease for no good reason. They just didn't want to rent it to us, well, my mother-in-law actually, but we were staying with her.

i have done the live-in thing which is what i mean, leases are better because you at least know when your date is coming and can see how it will pan out

Then there are landlords who try to evict you before your end date on a lease. >_<

unless you agreed to it in your contract you can file for litigations against them

Yeah, she had taken some landlords to court over it.

good for her(though why the fuck she would do it to you in turn i cannot guess)

She and I had gotten into fights before.
