Class stuff, we are learning about false starts (When you start cutting a bone stop for some reason and then restart) and apparently this will help us learn about kerf (the ammount of material a saw takes away while cutting). I was helping my professor make blanks so other people could do it faster on Tuesday.

It is.... why I ended up there with a saw gloves and a mask on sawing at the bone rolling my eyes asking why I couldn't just use a wooden dowel .

Dk good for you, most of my bone trauma class didn't.... they are the type to know all of the bone markers but don't know a thing about trauma or how things work to cause said trauma.... I was suggesting we get wood to show people... a .5 inch oak dowel has the same strength and give as bone in your arm.....
