That's true, I think most would demand that the bundles be broken up into their individual poses instead if they worked like the DIs xD.

Speaking of the lanterns and why they made them be granted (and taken away) as they did, I really hope they find a different system for the next event.

I think a good idea would be to grant an event currency every post but raise the price of the items by a few times.

Another site I'm on makes it so that you can only receive a new item once it's been unlocked or they just make it available later during the event because of plot in-site-world and to keep people excited in the real world.

I think the latter system works the best :3. People could gain a few of the available item(s) without becoming frustrated but would at the same time need to wait a few days to get a full set :3.

i assume you mean eryna and midorea? the issue is the +500 to get an item way discourages people from posting by making it seem impossible to get anything and i personally do not do events there because i dont have that sort of time or enthusiasm. it also does not help that this site is a fifth of the size

the other means if a goal is not met an item will not be released or if a person cannot be there for an item they miss out on ever getting it themselves

I think I spent a total of 1 hour on Ernya, I just didn't like the prices on their commons and their avatars weren't too much to my taste either.

I'm talking about Midorea. They never made any of the event items cost more than... 20 units of currency I think... I haven't really been there long enough.

You could still get an item even after the next ones has been released o.O. The goal should of course also be realistic. I know that the admins on Midorea actually released a few items that made reaching the goal 100x easier or so after they noticed it was going too slowly so it's possible to modify things mid-event if some things aren't progressing fast enough.

I think 300 event currency units would be realistic to get for an entire set but I see how it can become a bit annoying if an item or a bundle would cost too much ^^;.

i have missed midorea items actually and we have people who check in once a week tops too, they could not get anything with either method, it needs to be accessible to a lot of user-types
