yea she is but I guess it would be better to have a sort of idea what direction I'm headed in

an idea is nice though there is something to be said about taking the time to find yourself. heck, i have tried being a receptionist, a grape-picker, a construction worker, a sandwich maker, a baker, a homemaker, an artist, i have tried sewing, i have tried retail, i have even tried the awkward world of antiquing(on that note, fuck you random lady who bought five lots of junk just to piss off all the other bidders then throwing it all away)

I see I see but according to my mom there's no time for that and my big sister spent all the money trying to find herself and now she works a job that she hates and she's living at home with a car my mom had to cosign on and has so many student loans and there's a hold on her account so now she can't even go back to school until she pays it back

hmm, well i do hope you are able to manage it all well. it'd suck if stress tore you down, i have seen quite a few people have an especially hard time in school because they tried to pin down a career without taking the time to find out if it is the one for them

That's how it's been going...I told her I wanted to do video games but it's not even like the actual game or mechanics that I want to do. I want to animate the cut scenes that tell the story~ but they just threw me into Computer science and Engineering so that I'd be able to program the whole game and I'm like...idk anything about computers and at a big university it's not set up in a way that helps or teaches the students it's all just weeder classes...like how many of you can make it without completely failing

ah, well to be fair it works best if you do know something of the other steps? i think though that it's technically part of the course for graphic design to take science and programming

it's not the programming that's the problem~ i can't seem to get through the high level math OTL Programming is relatively easy if I have a list of definitions and a lot of different languages are very similar to each other

I understand that it's good to know how to do the other aspects but my school has a miner in video game design and development so I feel like I could still get the extra things that I need in a major focused more on arts and humanities rather than computers
