As long as he has that one room that's his "masculine sanctuary" of sorts, I wouldn't gripe about it. Moving out of one place and moving into another with a different person can be really difficult. You live your life starting off with a specific group of people. You get to know them and their little quirks and nuances, building a sort of symbiosis. Then you uproot yourself and have to acclimate to someone else's subtleties and ways of living. You have to re-learn how to live with someone. Something as simple as journeying to the kitchen in the middle of the night for something to drink can suddenly become a terrifying thing.

My friend is pretty laid back, as am I. And when I had a roommate I got used to it pretty quickly, mostly because I just keep to myself. ^^; The one and only time me and my friend got into a bad fight he felt really bad afterwards. x'D Also, I'm actually probably more masculine than my friend personality wise. ^^;
