No, you didn't do anything WRONG, but Trisphee's social groups function is... in need of a LOT of love. They don't work particularly well, they don't look particularly good, they don't give on-post rewards like aurum or event items, and they're almost entirely undiscoverable. (This is a user interface designer's term for something that you have to stumble over or intentionally go searching for to find it because nothing outside it indicates that you should look at it.)

It all adds up to a feature that basically nobody uses.

If you were into sharing all your awesome secrets for hacking the site and getting rich with your friends, social groups would be the place to post about it because literally no one will see it.

That and you don't need anymore reasons for someone to not post in the forums.

Well, yes, that too, we did merge forums together so that each one would see more activity, so having social groups split out would be counter to that. But that's more WHY we haven't given it much love.
