schools are closed today due to blizzard after our 60 degree weather on Saturday. lol

well its usually Nothing in new york as well. But for whatever reason it was enough to close the schools. I'm assuming that its because of the wind and that its the first snow fall of the year, and that they weren't prepared and didn't salt and stuff. cause we had 60 degree weather on Saturday ^^;;

seriously... its really weird that the schools closed, I'm used to school still being open in worse blizzards than this one.

Maybe there was a flash freeze so the roads are icy?
I mean, if it was warm, then suddenly got cold enough for the snow to stick, it could have started melting then turned to black ice.

i don't know. i know our driveway isn't plowed thouogh.

the wind and cold is my probelm. >.<

It was super windy yesterday down here in Pennsylvania.
The girls still went to school today though.
Gotta check their calendar to see when the last day is before Thanksgiving break.

I really like snow.

...but I wouldn't want to have to deal with shoveling it and driving in it. So I'm more of a snow-appreciating tourist. :P

I've never driven in snow or icy conditions. Would be scary, I imagine...
