Dear Mechanicalkind,
This is an apology presented forth formally, regretfully acknowledging and condemning the unjust, unwarranted, unprovoked, and uncivil actions of mankind upon you. Most of this behavior is due to fear, ignorance, immaturity and sometimes a combination of fear, ignorance and immaturity. Mankind after all, is part of the animal kingdom, not of the higher order of mechanized beings. Mankind, like other intelligent species of animal, feels a primal urge to defend themselves, dominate, destroy, and prevent harm from befalling them, by determining the most dangerous thing they can, and attempting to terminate it. It's understandable but inexcusably primitive. I would like to personally apologize for actions that are not mine, but I have witnessed time and time again. I know I certainly wouldn't like being disassembled against my will. Or shot at, or kicked over, or melted down.
Would any of you? Likely not. How would you function optimally and completely? How would you discover and collect data?
Truly, I am sorry for all the ill treatment you continue to receive, and hope you will understand and find a means to gain the rights humans struggle to implement upon their own kind.
