Does the fact that I've never once questioned my sanity qualify as insanity? Either that, or complete apathy toward the subject, I suppose. :p

Yeah that qualifys you.
I have a lovely saying of "I'm know I'm insane therefore I'm sane." and then we have the weird and wonderful way I speak every now and then.

I generally try to avoid thinking about how my brain works. I find it alternatively depressing and horrifying when I do something, and only afterward realize that I didn't consciously will myself to do that.

I'm personally of the opinion that consciousness is more or less an operating system for the brain's CPU, with perception, emotion, and cognition serving as software, despite how disturbing that thought is.

And don't mind me, I wax psychological, sometimes. :p
