In the middle of the ball room, there was a cackling, like a witches laughter, only young and most definitely male. Out of nowhere, mist started to swirl ominously around a bright ball of light, which then solidified. Into a smug-looking preteen, sitting in mid-air with his wings slightly flapping.
The unmistakable strains of Marilyn Manson's 'This Is Halloween' floated over whoever was attending.


"Nice little shindig you've got here. SO MANY tasty little young ones." the boy said, crossing his legs. "But what is a party without a little chaos, eh? I'm bored of being alone. If any of you can find me? I'll come home with you. Look hard, I'm not easy to spot. And TRY and keep up with my riddles when you find them? You humans are SO droll sometimes..."

With that, the boy vanishes, only the strains of music and some laughter left where he was, both quickly fading.

Ara, this reminds me, I should make some PaperChildren. Those look fun.

The snowy haired angel watched in silence as the child appeared, then disappeared just as quickly as he had come. Cheeks puffed out a bit as her arms folded; hey, she wasn't a human! What a rude little boy. Then again, he said he was alone. And children without a person to guide them often did turn out rather- that was it!

She'd find the kid and guide him to being a better person! For the most part, she genuinely wanted to help the winged boy. But, there was a part of her looking at what there was to gain; her adult wings. Surely raising a kid in need would be enough of a good deed for her to earn her wings?

Her mind made up, Rinnael set off to search for the kid...after she grabbed herself a cupcake or something else with sugar. Hey, couldn't go kid-hunting on an empty stomach, now could she?
