Whats even worse is when the group you're using (say, proboards) decides after five years to shut you down for "inappropriate" material.... Or after four months of inactivity...

Trisphee fixed costs amount to roughly $65/mo. But that doesn't at all account for money paid for work. That's just making sure the site remains on the internet.

The higher the traffic, the higher that cost goes. I couldn't guess how much a site like Gaia costs to keep up, but there's a reason they're constantly throwing gaia cash offers at you when you visit.
