why are there so many non-members in this thread?

Non members of what?

"guests" non-registered persons(in theory persons) viewing a thread. it seems there are often a half dozen or more in this particular one, since i don't see this sort of thing elsewhere it's a bit weird

in fact there were 10 when i wrote that and 4 now and i am the only registered user
