well, are you prepared this time at least?

I will be yeah. I haven't gotten the candy yet bc I have no self control, but I plan to get it on my grocery run the week of the 21. I've even found really good sugar free candy in case some of the kids need it <3

well i sugar-free is needed why not non-sweet treats like those little party favors?

:] I once went trick or treating, and this house I stopped by had a patio with an umbrella and instead of giving out candy, these people gave out fresh fruit punch with tiny Halloween cookies. <3

Another house I went to gave out stupid Halloween pencils without erasers on them... B[

sounds both adorable and dangerous

<.< I know right? Cookies are at least sweets,
you can't eat a pencil!

I mean, you CAN, but,
x'D it would not be wise.

Idk I've heard kids get really bummed that they always get non candy items when they can't have sugar. It's about the experience and fitting in

:] I was a weirdo kid. The only candies I liked getting were gummies and some fruit flavored candies. :[ my friends loved me because I let them haul away the majority of my stash of candy, because it was like 90% tootsie rolls, chocolate, gum and sours, which I didn't want..but at least I scored some of their gummies and other less sweet treats. :]

Can't enjoy sweets anymore tho. <x} Even a pixie stix will kill my gut. I can have organic gummies tho, and some marshmallows, so, :] that's good at least.

Always hated getting pretzels and popcorn tho. >n> This isn't a baseball game, this is Halloween.

yeah but pencils and paper pads and erasers are not good things. besides, you let the kids pick from the bowl and they can get what they want ^^

now, stretchy rats were always fun XD
Default #50140
<XD Aaah I never got one of those, but they are fun! I always got gummy pizzas, burgers, hot dogs, and bears. Maybe some gummy worms too. ^-^

trick or treating isn't a tradition here so I've always missed out on extra candy
Default #50142
it isn't really one here either. children get treats at school and sometimes there is a party hosted by the town but door-to-door is very rare and somewhat discouraged
Default #50143
god. i wish i could go trick or treating again. i didn't get to do it much.
percival is busy being queer as hell. he was also here.
Default #50144
well, if you have small family-members and a neighborhood that allows for it you might still be able?
