I know how that is.. I dropped mine a couple of times, now the L button wont work at all Dx

I know how the short week thing feels, but for next week with work.. new year's eve off, and christmas day off, but I work christmas eve x.x

On my DS Lite the R button won't work due to the hinge coming off and being glued on, and now the Charging and low battery lights are broken and not turning on when they are supposed to.

I'm fine.. remaking my avi with some items from my atl/main (unsure which.. I use Lucifer like 100x more than this one xD)

@DMS - Yeesh it seems DSes aren't meant to stand up to anything (but I knew that why else would they make the touch screen so easily scratchable)

dude, my second-hand gameboy advance has been to hell and back and that is /after/ the year in the barn and all the much grime and moisture and the only thing wrong with it is it's ugliness^^:

I've had my DS Lite since 2007 and I've dropped it at least once every month I'd owned it... I think for that kind of abuse it's stood up wonderfully. And the touchscreen is hardly scratched at all.

But I had a GBC that lasted like my whole childhood.. and I was horrible with it as a kid xD in the end it didn't even have a battery covering ;3

I think the only reason DS' are more breakable is that they are more complicated and made smaller that previous generation hand-helds, also breakability depends on the care they are given by the user/owner. Even so I think they do a great job standing up to my harsh usage of them. xD I have a friend who has had his DS less time but it is in worse shape.
