Pretty sure I can't carry around a GPS everywhere, since it sort of requires a car to plug in to.

And you do not get adventurous in Jacksonville. That story ends with murder. At least, on my side of town it does.

I'm getting really sick of people telling me "be adventurous!" when I complain about being unable to go anywhere. My aunts did the same thing. Why don't people understand that there are goddamn murderers and rapists and kidnappers out there who will legitimately hurt you, kill you, or rob you without even knowing you? I hear gunshots behind my house at least once a week. That does not inspire an adventurous attitude.

I live an hour away from jax and i only go in good area of JAX. XD
But you can get GPS on your phone if you have
smartphone like iphone, blackberry, droid, etc.

Actually, just about any cell phones, other than prepaid, can have GPS on them.

I noticed non-keyboard phones dont have them and
its a bitch to input infos into GPS with them.

I don't have a plan that supports GPS for my phone. I have pretty much the cheapest plan possible while still allowing texts and internet connectivity. I'm pretty sure the GPS uses the internet in some way to collect data, and I don't think it's minimal on the usage. I would probably only be able to load a little bit before getting hit with overcharges.

Actually GPS use satellites to collect data/locations.

But maybe one day that you can use GPS when able to afford it. <3

Whenever we use the GPS on my dad's iPhone, it seems to need the internet in order to update.

Maybe it's because it's powered by Google Maps.
