I wouldn't be all too surprised, actually. The name isn't unheard of, but it's one that seems to stick out anyway whenever it does crop up. That could be part of why I like it.

Frankly, it's my main OC's last name. I'm usually in character, granted a slightly twisted version from his usual universes... Aha. Anyway. His family likes keeping to names closer to their roots. Those lists of names and their meanings can give wonderful things, if used properly.
