"... Make it how you want to," Nic suggested.

"But I make it for you," she replied with a sigh, "At least have an opinion about your own coffee."

Nic looked confused. "That is my opinion," he tried to explain.

"Your opinion on how you want your coffee is that I should make it how I like?" Laurel asked, confused.

"Yes," Nic replied, not understanding her confusion in the matter.

"But I want to make it how you like it," Laurel tried to explain.

"... Don't make it too sweet," he replied.

Laurel nodded, "Okay," she replied beige snuggling back beside him, "I wasn't kidding about not being able to walk," she added.

"A hot bath would might help," Nic suggested.

Laurel decided not to mention the fact that she'd have to walk to the bath. She just sighed a little.

Nic took that as Laurel not wanting a bath. So he waited for her to figure out what she wanted to do.

Laurel sighed a little, "I guess... I'll be staying in bed all day then," she muttered, not very happy.

Nic didn't look like he planned on staying in bed all day, but he'd let Laurel stay in bed all day if she wanted to.

Laurel didn't look like she wanted to. At all. In fact, she was glaring a little at Nic now. It was his fault after all.

Nic didn't seem to take it too personally. It didn't look like guilt tripping him would help.

"Really?" she demanded after a moment, her anger growing.
