I don't understand why some people keep a ton of the same type, especially since they really aren't of much use, although I did keep my original guy for sentimental purposes, so there is that I guess. Still...though I suppose there's always that moment where someone (like me) complains about not having a certain pokemon and someone else (like my friend's fiance ;)) opens their app to show me the dozen or so they have.

Hatched a goldeen yesterday. Almost at 8/10 for my rare egg, so might take my eggs for a "walk" (read: put my phone in the front pocket of my hoodie with the app running while I do stuff around the house) later today.

.3k sweeping and vacuuming getting ready for this weekend.

I don't either, except some to trade, but she adores Bulbasaur. I suppose I'd be hardpressed to get rid of my favorites as well.

It seems to me like the only things worth paying coins for are the upgrades and lures. Unless I'm missing something? She hasn't used her lucky eggs and is level 18, so we're not too worried about them.

I haven't used anything, though I'm considering some incense since I'm in a barren area and that can sprout some of the more moderate to rare types.

I keep a lot for leveling fodder. x'D

I had a ton of Rattatas for power leveling using a lucky egg, but other than for those purposes I don't keep more than 2 of any other pokemon except Vaporeon. I have 3 high level Vaporeon now and they're just so good with Gym battles that I don't think I could give any of them up ^_^;;

Incense doesn't seem to do what I thought it would. She used one during a blood donation, didn't get anything great. We used another at ihop and didn't get anything great then either. She'll usually stack them with lures.

We only have three gyms in town, two we can get to, and she needs more gym fodder. Her Vaporeons are great, but she's never had anything stay for longer than 24 hours.

I was lucky and managed to leave one of my pokemon on a gym that lasted for 4 days this weekend... But other than that I normally get kicked off a gym within hours around here, if that...

Have you been moving around while having your incense on? If you are walking you are much more likely to come across pokemon than if you are just sat somewhere... The optimal speed for pokemon to spawn with incense going is around 6mph apparently...

I had one pokemon on a gym once. It lasted about 5 minutes.

And I didn't realize I had to collect my bonus thing while it was in the gym, so I got nothing.

No, both times were sitting. I didn't know there was a spawn speed, so thank you for that! :)

I think nearly two days have been her longest? The gyms chance a lot here, I guess because there's just three? What usually happens though is she'll get kicked out right before getting her defender bonus.

That's ok ^_^ It only when an incense is used though ^_^;; I would never have known either if I hadn't joined a PoGo group on facebook where there was a conversation about it... I've picked up quite a few useful hints and tips to things through it ^_^

We traveled to the next town over for a nearly new baby market (where it's like a car boot sale for baby and small childrens items) and across the road from it was a church that is a gym, the one I managed to be on for 4 days ^_^ I think the ones here are all regularly taken over seeing as I drove by one and managed to drop a pokemon on it but by the time we'd reached home (not 10 mins away) I had already been kicked off... ^_^;; I guess it's all luck of who comes along next... Weather they boost or break down that gym you are on...

That's a pretty smart way of looking at it. We sat and watched a Valor gym get beaten down and emptied, she put her Pokemon in it, and it stayed for a little under a day. The gyms are just super active here.

Though we did watch a couple of Valor people put Pokemon in the gym closest to our house, she was catching a Shellder at the time, and she just went right down there and knocked them both out immediately after. So we've definitely been on both sides!

I always collect the instant I get a pokemon into a gym because It's usually not worth waiting. Most of the gyms I see now are high level and not my team to I haven't done much battling of late. Just working on eggs.

I just try to be positive about things as I have enough bad already in my life ^_^;; It doesn't always work but I do my best ^_^

I know that feeling Quiet, I had an Eevee hatch yesterday morning... While I don't mind the extra candy I would rather get something I either don't have yet or one that I still need the candy for...

I'm just too negative, haha.

Well, she finally caught a Charmander! Missed two stops, but she finally got one. I think that's been the newest one she's got.

She's also pretty unhappy that the gyms now count in the sighting. It makes sense to me, you are seeing that Gyrados or Hitmonchan, even if you can't catch it, but now she's mad it's messed up her Pokedex. After getting Charmander, she had caught all she'd seen.

Guess it's time to catch 101 magikarp, then, Konzern! :O

Lol, pretty much! We've only seen one "in nature" and that was by a duck pond in the next town. She's hatched I think two? It's a long way, but at least you have time to actually find one that can battle with the best of them!
