Because the managers treat me like crap. I'm really tired of it. When Bob does the scheduling, I am down to a shift a week. I was promised 16.5 hours a week. He's told me to slit my wrists, as a joke. I just don't want to deal with this any more.

I've never been a waitress. I'm afraid of not making enough because they're below minimum wage, and then earn tips. It is, ironically, a customer of ours who asked if I was looking for another/new job. She said that they were looking for people who were good at customer service. So it could be hostess. But she says I always help her out whenever she is in our store. She works for Outback Steakhouse.

Hey Liosh, one thing you should know about wait staff, is that if they don't get enough by tips to make at least minimum wage, the business is supposed to make it up. At least that's what I'm always reading on labor laws. I think you should go for it, during busy times you would likely make far more than minimum wage.

I don't know. =/ I want out but I am afraid of messing up and such.
