nice! :3 my fingernails are bright yellow and plumb purple.

I have purple nail polish but it is a metal shiney thing.

I love to try and match my nails to my cloths but I get too lazy some times. xD

I usually only paint them once a week, maybe a bit sooner if it starts chipping real quick. sometimes they match my clothes, but most often, I can't be bothered to match every day.

I normally just use clear nail polish on my fingers nails because it doesn't matter when they start to chip. lol

I ran out of clear a while ago and I keep forgetting to buy more. >.<

I think I don't paint my nails much because I don't like using nailpolish remover. I let my nails grow long and they're pretty touch so I don't like to do anything to make them weaker or flimsy.

When I did paint them more often I had a few bottles of nailpolish, my favourite being one metallic glittery blue and one dark glitter purple. I got annoyed though because they barely had any of the glitter and shine in them when I put them on and I put on at least 5 coats before I was happy with them. If I knew more about the process I might have gotten a solid blue to put underneath and saved myself the trouble.

One of my sisters is a make-up artist and does lovely things with just basic nailpolish. Easy too, for the most part. She had watermelon nails the last time I went to see her, or little flowers that she paints with toothpicks. One style she likes is the one that the Buffy (series) character Drusilla uses; dark blue with a white stripe at the tip.

This all reminds me that I need to deal with my nails now. Sigh. They need to be chopped but can't do it since I want them for my sister's (different sister) wedding in two weeks. Apparently glue works as good nail protection when they are starting to look a little shabby.

I think my nailpolish remover is nail-strengthening or something. yay chemicals.
my thumbnails are pretty tough because I try not to pick at them at all, but my fingers kindof waiver in between regular nail strength and obnoxiously weak. biting and picking at them makes them bad.

Yeah. I used the nail painting method to stop nibbling on mine too. I pick at them right after I cut them though, since I'm not very good with a file and tend to leave little catchy bits no matter what I do.

I file my nails like crazy most of the time. I have a tiny metal file on the fingernail clippers I keep on my keys, so I almost always have something with me no matter where I am. if for some reason I'm out of the house and I don't have my keys, I run my nails over my jeans until they get less scratchy.
