Edit: Oh gods...I created a monster for this...

Description: Before you is a creature within an armored carapace decorated in swirls, runes, and symbols. It has a four legged body with each furred leg jutting out to the side. Between the legs is a skin-like flap, perhaps meant for flight or gliding. It has a large almost rattling or chattering back abdomen that is used to an almost maraca-like effect. It is oily, and emits a soothing fragrance. From the shoulders a long telescoping head juts out, armored in segments, with six little insectoid legs. The furry head appears catlike, with whiskers and a cute yet sophisticated muzzle. It has a white orb on the forehead that twinkles like a jewel.

Personality: Extremely polite to customers, but talks either frankly or in rhyme (depending on the day). Likes to design and apply piercings, and is very quick with them. Also, is prone to randomly sleeping during the day and follow anything of curiosity.

I'll have some manner of punk caterpillar at the end of this, I'm sure. Perhaps there's a stylist around?

Not entirely sure where your character's appearance is going there, Lawtan. Did you base him off the Mystics in Dark Crystal? That's sorta the vibe I'm getting.

@Quiet - Umm...sort of but not really. I tried thinking among the lines of the style of work the artist of both the Dark Crystal and the Labyrinth, and I took what fascinated me, and came up with this creature. I drew a crappy version that no one will see, and improved upon it via description.
