Just about the only seafood I will not eat is tuna. It smells and looks absolutely repulsive x.x

I grew up in the Northeast (New England), where we consider our seafood the best. That's why everyone looks at me oddly when I say I don't like any seafood. The only time I allow seafood in my meal is when anchovies are used for traditional Caesar salad, and even then it's a very small amount and I can't actually see any.

Because that's where English settlers landed in the 1700s.

A lot of places just took a European name and added new or something similar to it. It was the tradition back then to take a little history with them into the future.

Oh, and for New England, we usually don't include New York. It's Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. However, for the northeast, New York is included.
