Im pretty sure you don't do it exactly because the rules are pretty strict in a way
Only catching the first pokemon you see in each area. If you don't catch it you don't get any pokemon in that area. No trading no anything like that
It sucks when the pokemon runs away q-q it sucks.

But some people get crazy with nuzlocking.

Actually, The way I did it is really similar, The only thing different was the catch the first Pokémon thing, Mine was , Catch 6 pokemon only, and they had to be all different types.
