Supernatural should have ended at with the season 5 finale imo

a LOT of people feel that way. but i'm still watching. =)

I stopped watching after season 7 or 8. I love the early show but now… it is just becoming old.

Any show that goes on that long is gonna get...tenuous.

Eh yeah. It can be hard to keep a show going for that long without it getting to be kind of boring.
What I hate is when a show sets up the perfect finale to end it on...but then just keeps going.

You know what my favorite show is? It has 10 seasons even - never gets boring!

I have this thing that when I watch a show, I watch it until it's done.

and there's also the actors, too. Dean (Jensen) and Crowley (Marc Sheppard) can read phonebooks and I'd still watch. Jensen can just stand there, and I'd still watch. XD

but that's me, and everyone else's mileage will vary, and I'm well aware of that. =D

and the other show on my list is The Americans. it's an FX series.

Glitch: I've never actually seen Frasier.

I think if a show can keep itself interesting through some many seasons, then that's awesome. But a lot of shows tend to get stale after some long because they run out of good material, but still want to milk it for all they can.

that's the thing with Supernatural - I'll tell you that it's still interesting; someone else would tell you that it's gotten stale.... and we're both right as we see it.

the problem I had on another forum is that people would say it was stale, they didn't like it, they wish the storyline would go back to season 1, say they hate the show and that they're never watching it again.... and then the next week they've watched it again, and are saying the same exact things they said about the previous episode.

so what the Supernatural fandom has done for me is simply get my defenses up for any show I watch... I have to distance myself from comments about shows for a while until I realize it's just a comment, no harm is meant by it, and then I can reply objectively.

I'm just going to apologize ahead of time if I say something that sounds defensive. I try not to be. =)

With frasier, the show always seemed to find a good leg to stand on and his brother Niles got better and better at his character over the years that by the end he was really stealing the show. I have a huge crush on him xD

I think Supernatural is still interesting too, but the Season 5 Finale just ended it so perfectly for me. And never apologize for feeling differently about a show! We all react to things differently :)
